Raise the Roof

I've noticed these past few days, I've been getting irritated or extremely annoyed easily. For instance - Zach told me not to do anything stupid, so we can hang out this weekend. NOW THAT REALLY MADE ME MAD. I was like "So you just expect me to do something stupid and get grounded?!?!" HES THE ONE GETTING GROUNDED FOR GRADES, Shoot, I have all A's so far ;P  Erg. So thats one issue.

And school, is really bugging me. Choir- WE NEED A BREAK. We've been working our butts off all year. She said after the WCDA, we would get a few days break, and what do we get? Half a day of no singing! Then, we worked our butts off for Choral Fest, which was Saturday, and she said we would get a break after that. We got yesterday off. Erg. But I do admit, it was pretty darn amazing - Choral Fest. It is where all the high school and all the 8th grade choirs get together and sing 4 songs together, and each school sang a solo tune. Mahone was the first do to our solo. And at this thing, we have a guest conductor, who conducts us all, minus the solo tunes. He is the conductor and Lawerence College or something in Northern Wisconsin. He's a big shot ;) So he knows all. And when he heard Mahone sing alone, his jaw immediatley dropped in amazement. Then our teacher told us how all the directors took him out Sunday night for dinner. And he was randomly talking, and brings up this -
"You should have heard this middle school choir sing. They were AMAZING. I've never heard anything like them." And our teacher just sat there quietly. And the teacher next to her goes points to our teacher and goes "That was her choir!" And Richard Bjella (the guest conductor) screams "OH MY GOSH. THEY WERE AMAZING"
Our teacher said he looked like he was gonna kiss her he was so amazed. Hehe.  I'd say we raised the roof ;)

Ready for High School?

I got my high school courses sheet yesterday :) It's pretty exciting actually. It's over-whelming, but it finally seems like its here! Its reality. I'm going to be in high school next year. No denying it. But when you finally get all the sheets, it feels real. You learn about the credits. For my high school, you need atleast 26 credits to graduate. And to graduate with your Honors Diploma, 16 of those 26 credits must be honors classes. I'm proud to say I'm going for it :D Already, my freshman year I'm taking 4 honors classes. I'm debating whether to take 5. Right now I'm at Geometry, Biology and Literature & Comp. Honors, oh and I'm taking Choir Honors xD I'm debating whether to take U.S. History honors. I don't think I will though. I already have enough trouble paying attention and liking that class. Then I'm going to take French 101, or maybe Italian, not sure.... But I think French ;) Then my senior year I get to go to Paris! And I may possibly take summer gym. :O How weird. But then you don't have it during the school year, you don't get all hot and sweaty. And then during the year, when you would have had gym, you can take an extra elective to get 8.5 credits! P.E. is half a credit. And an elective such as Communications or something is half a credit. I think I'm going to take that too. It sounds cool. It deals with photography, video cameras, and computers for designing things. I'm excited. I'm glad that most of my classes with be only freshman, except Choir Honors and my elective that I choose. So that's a plus. I'm not ready to be around all those older people.
It kind of sucks. You go from the oldest, the highest, to the youngest, and most scared. Look at all the 8th graders picking on little 6th graders. Imagine SENIORS!!!
But luckily I'll know a few juniors. So that could help a little, or maybe alot?!

That's about it. This week seems to be going very slow... Blah  Post more later.

Oh! And Zach got his braces off :) I still haven't seen them though. He just got them off today.
Wednesday: I saw them! They are pretty :) His teeth are perfect. Now mine look bad lol

Mommy for a Weekend

I'm a mommy!! Haha. In FCS class (Family Consumer Science), we have these baby simulators that are computerized. And they are meant to be like a new baby. They cry randomly and you have to burp, feed, rock or change them. I got a boy :(  But he has so many names. Haha. Nick on the bus says "His name should be Nick" and I say "Ok" kind of laughing. Then Nick says "No. I'm not even kidding. His name is Nick, ok?" Haha. Then Joe wants it to be Joe. And Gabby and Travis said Travis James. So I have no idea what to do. Cos we have to make a birth certificate. And they come in this HUGE baby carrier!! I had to bring that thing on the bus. Haha, and I have to on Monday morning. My baby still hasn't turned on yet though. Hehe. The teacher programmed them to turn on at 6. Unless you snapped its neck backwards, then it would cry until 6. :O  Mine's been quiet though :)  So many people held mine. I didn't actually hold it until I got home. Even on the bus I didn't have it. Hah.

So... thats about it. Tell you more about that later. lol

Saturday: My Baby is a dud :(  It DOESNT WORK. I carried that thing on the bus all the way home for NOTHING. And I'm gonna have to do it again. Erg. I'm mad. lol That thing was such a hassel to carry around. Its heavy as asdklfjadwer. And I had to sleep with it, just incase it woke up. Cos Bryan said his didn't turn on until 3 in the morning. So I didn't know if that was gonna happen to me. But it didn't >.< But I still have to wear the wristband... i think ?  I better not get down graded for shaking it or anything, we were trying to wake it up. Hehe.

Half way there

Whooah, were half way there
WHOOAH
Livin on a prayer
Take my hand and well make it - I swear
WHOOOOAH
Livin on a prayer

The school year is officially half over :D (We're half way there) ;)How amazing is that?! This year has gone extremely fast for me. All the teachers said 8th grade would be like torture slow, but its actually gone really fast. But I know, once we hit like May, it's going to take forever to end. ;)  Like last year, from March to May it went fast, then once you start like counting down the days, it takes forever. Like your sitting in your chair saying "10 days will NEVER end"
I'm REALLLYYY looking forward to June. I cannot wait to graduate :D AND LEAVE MAHONE FOREVER. I never have to go back, ever ever ever again. I will be free from that horrible place. I have grown such a... deep hate feeling for that school. Hate IS a strong word, thats why I'm using it :) That place is terrible. It's gotten worse every year I've been there. Listen to this. So, NOBODY likes our assistant principal. And she is the one that does everything, our principal is WAY past retirement, and doesn't do anything. You never see him. And nobody likes our assistant principal. You walk past her in the hall and say hi, or Good Morning Mrs.Knight! and she says nothing. She just keeps on walking. How rude?! She does that to everyone.
Anyways, I think graduation will be great. But what I don't get, they make the 8th graders come back, AFTER WE GRADUATE. And we graduate like a week before the end of school. My mom says they should just get us out. Obviously theres gonna be problems. Seriously. Theres no discipline they can do. What are they gonna do, suspend you? You've already graduated. lol They are just causing issues. It's like they want to get you in trouble, so they can discipline you. Man, my school is a drag.

So obviously, I'm looking forward to high school. I'm utterly terrified, but excited. A new school, new teachers, new people, new classes! Thats what I want. You don't have the boring Math Science English Social Studies. You actually get classes you yourself are interested in. Yay.

Well, thats about it. I just wanted to post. Sooo, peace out.

Ah.

What is it lately? I need a break. I want to say that, but I don't know how it will be taken. I feel terrible about it.

Pretty much:

I'm not doing so hot on my new years resolution.

Competition

was awesome :)   It was nothing like I expected. I honestly thought it wasn't going to be such a big thing, and so many people, and etc... but it was!!! And I have to brag. We WERE amazing. I believe we sang the best we have ever. Mrs. Smith was crying by our last song. And we sang like 9 songs!! That's alot. And it was hot on that stage with the lights shining on you. And at one part, apparently we were so good that they turned off all the lights, and just shined one spotlight on the choir. Pretty amazing.

It was quite an experience, and I'm glad I got the special chance.  We don't find out how we did for a few days.... but I will definately post that when I get the news.

Poof

Isn't it like magic? On your birthday, you just suddenly, without noticing any difference, you turn a year older. 14 for me. :) My birthday was good. I'd say it was just perfect :]

Good news!!! Today was my last day of school this week. WHOO. Tomorrow, they already cancelled school :D and Friday, we leave at 7:30 for state competition. Yay.
